Fulfilling the great commission requires an attitude of growth in obedience to God. When we truly love God, we are willing to serve others, and this often involves stepping out of our comfort zone to minister to a hurting world in need of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Here you’ll find a place to connect with real people and real families with a desire to grow outside ourselves and share the love of Christ. Where We Meet

First Baptist Church of White Plains is located in the White Plains community of Anniston, Alabama adjacent to White Plains High School. Our Location page includes address and contact details, a map, and directions.

Preaching

Our Pastor, Eric Snider, leads us through expository preaching. This means he allows the biblical text to determine the main idea and structure of his sermons. We believe that every word in the Bible is true and from God. Therefore, we seek to explain the meaning of the Bible in its original context and then apply that meaning to our lives today. Expect biblical, relevant, and applicable preaching at the First Baptist Church of White Plains.
